Senator Fetterman Says ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Drives Democratic Party

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania stated during an appearance on the “All-In Podcast” that the Democratic Party currently lacks a clear leader and is instead governed by what he called “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS). The term, used by Trump supporters, refers to strong opposition toward former President Donald Trump.

When asked who leads the Democratic Party, Fetterman replied, “we don’t have one,” and asserted that TDS effectively controls the party’s direction. He suggested that Democrats would oppose Trump under any circumstances, saying, “Trump could come out for ice cream and lazy Sundays and now suddenly Democrats would hate it.”

Support for U.S. Military Action and Israel

Fetterman has expressed strong backing for Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. military campaign targeting Iran. He described himself as “literally the only Democrat in America” supporting the attack, calling it a justified effort to hold the Iranian regime accountable. The senator also reaffirmed his support for Israel amid ongoing conflict, stating on social media his pride in standing “with Israel through the horror of 10/07” and applauding the military’s accomplishments. He emphasized the importance of “picking country over party.”
