Police in Celina, Texas, disrupted a large party of 500 to 800 teens and young adults at an Airbnb rental north of Dallas on March 21, 2026, after receiving multiple emergency calls, including reports of shots fired and armed individuals threatening violence.
Police Response and Arrests
Celina Police Department officers responded to reports of a large gathering at a residence on the 800 block of Choate Parkway. The party was advertised on social media, which contributed to the large turnout. During their intervention, officers arrested one individual for driving under the influence as a minor and took another into custody on an outstanding aggravated assault warrant issued by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
Police Chief John Cullison said officers entered the home following reports of gunfire and threats by armed men at the front gate. Despite the violent reports, no injuries related to gunfire were found after a thorough search of the premises. Officers remained in the area as the crowd dispersed.
Property Damage and Incident Details
The home’s owner, Kishore Karlapudi, told local media the property had been severely damaged. Furniture was removed from the living room and piled in the garage, wall fixtures were destroyed, and the granite kitchen island and countertop showed signs of damage, allegedly from people dancing on them. Officers also discovered bloodstained sheets and towels inside the residence.
Dashcam video released by the Celina Police Department captured officers rushing to the scene amid crowds fleeing the area. The department emphasized proactive enforcement efforts to maintain safety during the incident.
