US Forces Kill Four Suspected Narco-Terrorists in Caribbean Strike

The U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) reported killing four alleged narco-terrorists in a targeted strike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Caribbean on March 25. The operation was conducted by Joint Task Force Southern Spear under the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan.

Strike Targets Vessel Linked to Terrorist Organizations

SOUTHCOM confirmed that intelligence indicated the vessel was navigating known narcotics trafficking routes and was actively engaged in drug trafficking operations. The strike involved a lethal kinetic operation against the vessel, which SOUTHCOM identified as being operated by designated terrorist groups.

The command stated that no U.S. military personnel were harmed during the strike.

SOUTHCOM’s Escalated Efforts Against Narcotics Networks

This action forms part of SOUTHCOM’s broader strategy of “applying total systemic friction on the cartels.” The command has emphasized intensifying military efforts to disrupt narcotics trafficking networks that operate across critical maritime corridors in the Caribbean region.

The strike reflects an escalation in U.S. military involvement aimed at countering narco-terrorism and drug smuggling activities along key trafficked routes.
