Educators Use NASA’s TEMPO Data to Empower Teens’ Air Quality Research

From July 27 to July 29, 2026, thirteen formal and informal educators gathered at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian (CfA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for the BEST AQI Leadership Institute. Led by Harvard’s CosmicDS team, the Institute introduced participants to TEMPO-Lab, an online platform designed to explore near-real-time air pollution data collected by NASA’s TEMPO satellite.
